What is rima horton?

Rima Horton is a retired British academic and former Labour Party councillor. She was born in 1947 in London, England. Horton taught English at a college in London for many years before retiring.

Horton is perhaps best known for being the long-time partner of actor Alan Rickman. The two met in 1965 and lived together in London for over 50 years before getting married secretly in 2012. Rickman passed away in 2016 after battling pancreatic cancer.

Horton has also been involved in local politics, serving as a councillor for the Labour Party in Kensington and Chelsea. She has been an advocate for social justice issues, including affordable housing and education.
